Italy 2004 - Urbino

Urbino is a medieval hill town which is actually closer to a mountain town. It has amazing views in all directions from a park at the very top, and very active non-touristy street culture due to the difficulty of getting there. When we went it was full of students and their friends and family celebrating graduation.

Since people graduate all at different times, everyone seemed to spend a lot of time helping friends celebrate. Groups of them would swarm around a graduate singing this same joyous little song over and over again at the top of their lungs. We could hear it echoing across the town all night. We didnt understand the words but it seemed so sweet. Then someone translated it for us: roughly "graduate, graduate, go do yourself in the ass."

	The city was full of these posters, put up by friends of graduates, celebrating their graduation and teasing them mercilessly
	I left my wallet on a bar here and came back 30 minutes later to find it still there, contents unmodified.
